Stansted airport (STN) is London's third airport and with easy reach of
the city and eastern parts of the United Kingdom.
Stansted is the fastest growing major airport in Europe.

1. London Stansted airport is 40 miles (65km) from the center of London.
2. The airport has a single terminal.
3. Over 20 airlines fly to and from Stansted, serving 120+ destinations
and 20 million passengers a year.
4. The terminal has a selection of shops on both sides of the customs
check points. There are several places to eat and find a drink.
5. Car hire companies have booths in the terminal. You will
generally find the best car hire price by making your reservation online
before travel.
GETTING TO AND FROM LONDON STANSTED
1. Road: From the M11 motorway, take exit 8a.
2. Rail: The Stansted Express train runs from Liverpool Street mainline rail
station directly to the terminal at Stansted. The journey takes 45 minutes.
Trains run every 15-30 minutes.
3. Bus and Coach: There is a coach station at the terminal, with coaches
and buses serving local destinations. There are national coaches serving
London and other parts of the country.
4. Taxi: Look for the official Airport Carz and avoid the unlicensed
cars which often tout for business. Book your taxi at the international
arrivals concourse.
5. Underground: Stansted is not served by the London underground.
