 Stockholm Skavsta Airport
(NYO) is one of the fastest growing airports in
Sweden.
The modern facilities are able to handle large numbers of passengers and
the airport also see plenty of air cargo.

1. Stockholm Skavsta can handle one million passengers a year.
2. The airport has one terminal and everything is on one level. No
stairs or elevators.
3. The airport was originally a military base, founded in 1940.
4. Several budget price airlines use Stockholm Skavsta.
5. There is a gift shop in the departure lounge.
6. The restaurant serves a range of meals, sandwiches, snacks and
drinks.
GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
1. By car: Exit from the north/south E4 motorway. The airport is 62
miles (100km) from Stockholm. There is plenty of long term parking at
the airport.
2. By train: The local train station at Nyköping serves Stockholm,
Norrköping, Linköping and Södertälje.
3. By coach: There is a regular coach service to and from the centre of
Stockholm. Airport coaches can be found at gate 24.
4. By taxi: Taxis serve nearby cities. Agree a fare with the driver
before you travel.
